We're proud to announce that Terrell Hoagland is the newest member of the JDS family! A self-proclaimed "Green Building Superhero," Terrell will serve as the Director of Sustainability for JDS. Terrell is a LEED AP (BD+C, O+M) and his sustainble design experience includes more than 59 LEED registered projects.
Terrell's career spans 21 years of construction and construction management experience. He has worked with owners to build complex projects of all scopes and sizes. Terrell played a critical role in the construction of the Devon Energy Center, which at 1.86 Million square feet is one of the largest LEED 2009 Gold projects in the nation. Other notable projects have involved owners such as FedEx, St, Judes, Oklahoma Medical Research Center, University of Arkansas, University of New Mexico, Oklahoma State University, Oklahoma University, University of Texas, Santa Fe Community College, University of California Davis, Tulsa City County Library, and the Seaholm Power Plant redevelopment in Austin.
Terrell's committment to give back runs deep. He volunteers his time with the ABC National Green Building Committee, USGBC Oklahoma Board of Directors (past-chair), Up With Trees Board of Directors, and is a founding member of the Sustainable Tulsa'a Green Building Strategy Team. Terrell worked to help create and pilot the ABC Green Contractor Certification Program which establishes guidelines for developing sustainable business practices and promotes corporate engagement.
