Building smarter. Leading better.

At Jones Design Studio, we serve as a trusted Design-Build Owner Advisor to agencies and organizations seeking clarity, confidence, and integrity in how they deliver projects. We care deeply about the impact of the built environment and the responsibility owners carry in shaping a more sustainable future. Our work is grounded in curiosity and openness—we ask penetrating questions, explore new ideas, and bring a thoughtful, collaborative energy to every conversation.

Who We Are

We partner with owners to strengthen Design-Build programs, guide critical decisions, and align teams around proven best practices. We believe in lifting others up through respectful, transparent collaboration, within a clear set of roles and responsibilities. Above all, we are accountable—to our clients and to our commitments—showing up with honesty, integrity, discipline, and follow-through on everything we do.

Our Story

Jones Design Studio began with a deep commitment to sustainability—but it quickly evolved into something more expansive: helping public agencies lead smarter, more human-centered capital projects.

Founder Molly Jones recognized a persistent gap in the industry. Agencies were eager to adopt collaborative delivery methods like Design-Build, yet many lacked the guidance needed to lead those processes with clarity and confidence. Rather than competing for the spotlight, Molly stepped into a different role—one focused on stewardship over authorship, and leadership over control.

She became the calm, clear coach in the room: helping owners ask better questions, make informed decisions, and align teams around shared goals and best practices. That mindset naturally extended beyond individual projects. It led to a deep commitment to DBIA to elevate the role of the Owner Advisor in the industry, and led to the launch of Build Beautifully, a coaching platform supporting owners and Owner Advisors by providing the educational tools and resources they need.

Today, Jones Design Studio is trusted not only for the outcomes we help deliver, but for the clarity, discipline, and integrity we bring to the process—strengthening owners, elevating teams, and improving how Design-Build projects are delivered.
